Route planning

Travel events give you visibility into the driving logistics of your tour. When you lay out travel events between each show, you can quickly identify:
  • Long drives that may need an early departure or a rest stop
  • Back-to-back shows with tight travel windows
  • Routing inefficiencies where rearranging dates could save hours on the road
When planning a tour, look at your travel events as a whole. A drive that looks manageable in isolation might be exhausting after three consecutive long-haul days.

Travel on the calendar

Travel events appear on the calendar between your shows and lodging events, giving you a complete day-by-day picture of your tour. This is especially useful in the week and day views where you can see how travel, shows, and lodging fit together.

Combining with other event types

Travel events work best when used alongside Lodging and Shows. Together, these three event types form the backbone of your tour itinerary — where you are playing, how you are getting there, and where you are staying. For air travel between cities, see Flights. For multi-stop journeys that combine driving and flying, see Trips.
