Generating a day sheet
Build the show schedule
Open the show and add schedule items (load-in, soundcheck, doors, sets, curfew, etc.) in the Schedule tab.
Ensure venue details are complete
Make sure the venue has an address and any relevant contacts. This information appears on the day sheet automatically.
How teams use day sheets
Day sheets are the backbone of day-of communication on tour. Common uses include:- Print and distribute — Hand copies to every band member and crew at the start of the day
- Post at the venue — Tape a copy in the green room so everyone can check the timeline
- Share digitally — Send the PDF to your group chat so the team has it on their phones
- Venue coordination — Give a copy to the venue production manager so both sides are aligned on the schedule
Keeping day sheets accurate
Since the day sheet is generated from your show data, updating the schedule or venue details in Roadcase and re-exporting gives you an updated day sheet instantly. If timing changes on show day, update the schedule in the app and generate a fresh PDF.Day sheets are a snapshot at the time of export. If you change the schedule after exporting, generate a new day sheet to get the latest information.
