When you are on the road, knowing where you are sleeping each night matters. Roadcase lets you track accommodations for every stop on your tour so your team always knows the plan.
Lodging types
Roadcase supports several accommodation types to cover how touring artists actually travel:
| Type | Description |
|---|
| Hotel | Standard hotel booking |
| Airbnb | Short-term rental or vacation property |
| Couch surf | Staying with friends, family, or contacts |
| RV park | For artists touring in RVs or buses |
| Other | Any other sleeping arrangement |
Creating a lodging event
To add lodging to your schedule:
- Click New event on the calendar
- Select Lodging as the event type
- Fill in the details — title, dates, and lodging type
- Add any notes with address details, confirmation numbers, or check-in instructions
- Click Save
Lodging events can span multiple days, which is useful for multi-night hotel stays or week-long Airbnb rentals.
Include the confirmation number, check-in time, and address in the notes field so your crew has everything they need without digging through email.
Lodging on the calendar
Lodging events appear on the calendar alongside your shows and travel events. This gives you a complete picture of your tour logistics — where you are playing, how you are getting there, and where you are staying.
Planning ahead
When routing a tour, adding lodging events alongside your shows helps you spot gaps in your planning. If you see a show date without a lodging event, you know there is still a booking to make. Combined with Travel events, lodging gives your team a full itinerary for each day on the road.
